there's really not a lot of stuff to choose from that's worth watching for the price.
free tv sucks the most, reality shows and other mindless garbage that keep making its way to market.
I don't have a television - the last thing I watched was the last Summer olympics. I did it mainly because I wasn't giving myself enough time to study for my degree.
It's amazing how much time it frees up. Problem now is, I got a laptop pc so I spend all the time I saved on here instead!!
Note for any tv licensing employees who may be reading - I really do not have a tv so please stop sending me letters to ask if I changed my mind!

Am I getting the grammar wrong here or does Jehovah really want me not to read the Bible, not drink in moderation and to do lots of ungodly acts?

.....but i'm going to a church that thinks they all are.
they preach a good game but in the end, i still believe in the paradise on earth theology.
i'm split right down the middle, as i cannot get away from the belief that only a few were ever good enough to get to heaven.
I think my beliefs are kinda along the lines of Woodsman's post.
I believe that the new heaven and paradise earth are the same place - or at least there's no separation between them.
I came to this conclusion by trying to work out where everyone was in the different parts of Revelation (some of which have already been mentioned earlier).
So be free to keep your earthly hope and not too worried about the rest of the church going to heaven
i know i'm not jwd's most popular participant but even i look at this place as a means of support sometimes.
i just wanted to say that this morning my father died of a heart attack while in field service.. i am on my way to new mexico with my daughter.
as some of you know i am df'd so you know how that goes when attending a jw funeral.

just got back from visiting my friend who had a heart attack.
yesterday he woke up and his brain is ok, he remembered me and we talked for a while.
he will be transferred to duke hospital sat.
So glad to hear this, Ken, he was so very ill the other day.
Still keeping him in my thoughts and prayers for a continued speedy recovery.
